Greet your trick-or-treaters at the door with this kid friendly felt craft. Just some cutting and decorating to have the front door ready for that first knock on Halloween night!
Skill Level: Some experience necessary
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 7 – 12”x18” CPE Black EZ Felt Sheets
- White Craft Paint
- Black Craft Paint
- 1” Wide Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Templates
DIRECTIONS:
- Using the templates, trace and cut out the tombstones, bats and cat from the black EZ Felt sheets.
- Using white paint, paint the letters “RIP” (or message of your choice) with white paint. Use one coat of paint for a rough chalkboard finish, two coats for solid letters.
- Optional: Using the picture as a guide, roughly shade tombstone pieces with black paint.
- Once dry, use felt shapes to decorate tablecloths, walls, doors, etc.
